About Judi:
A teacher and lecturer, Judi has developed her own style of wearable and quilting techniques. She competes on a local, national and international level with over 275 awards credited to her work. Her work can be seen in several prestigious places: The California State Governors office, Sacramento Convention Center, Missionary headquarters in Greece, hospitals and even the local zoo. The biggest driving force, or passion that Judi has is her Ministry - designing garments around scriptures and presenting them in her Heart of God ministry presentation. Judi says, “The garments bring out emotions in people, they want to touch, get a close up at every fine detail. The appreciation for Wearable Art and Quilts in a world that is not exposed is sometimes overwhelming to them, beyond their comprehension. It overwhelms me as well when I see how my work touches and affects others. I have many times stood in front of a painting and felt the emotions that it brought to me, never thinking that my work would do that to others. I never ever want to stop bringing out emotions and joy in others through the work of my hands." |
